News: Vehicle slams into Dallas police cruiser during traffic stop on US-75
The collision occurred shortly after midnight in Uptown
DALLAS, TX - A Dallas police squad car was involved in a collision on US-75 in Uptown early Friday morning.
According to KRLD, the crash happened shortly after midnight in the northbound lanes of the freeway near the North Hall Street overpass.
Police say the officer was responding to a traffic incident when his cruiser was struck by another vehicle at a high rate of speed.
Fortunately, neither the officer or the other driver involved suffered serious injuries in the crash.
