DALLAS, TX - A teenager is under arrest in connection with a hit-and-run incident that killed a pedestrian in Dallas last month, according to KDFW.
The fatal crash occurred Sept. 24 on Fort Worth Avenue, where a man walking on the street was struck by a vehicle at about 1:39 a.m. As witnesses tried to help the 50-year-old victim, he was hit again by a Chevy Cruz. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.
Both drivers left the scene without stopping. Police have now announced the arrest of one person involved in the crash, an 18-year-old woman. She has been charged with accident involving death. It was not yet clear which of the two cars the woman was driving.
She was being held without bond in the Dallas County Jail.
