News: Driver of FedEx truck killed in wreck on Interstate 635 in Dallas
The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on the LBJ Freeway near Hillcrest Road.
DALLAS, TX - Authorities said an accident in North Dallas Wednesday killed the driver of a FedEx truck, according to NBC DFW.
The crash took place on the LBJ Freeway near Hillcrest Road at about 4:30 p.m. It involved several vehicles including the FedEx 18-wheeler, which overturned as a result. The truck driver sustained fatal injuries. No one else was injured.
The incident shut down the westbound lanes of I-635 and all but one of the eastbound lanes as crews cleared the scene and cleaned up a fuel spill caused by the accident.
