Ms. Atalia A. Garcia is an attorney and a founding partner of Garcia Legal Group, P.C. Atalia focuses on bankruptcy law, business litigation, real estate law, and immigration law. Born in Dallas, Texas and raised in the community of Pleasant Grove, Atalia understands the meaning of sacrifice and dedication.
As a first generation college graduate of immigrant Mexican parents, she was taught the importance of hard work at a very early age. After graduating from H. Grady Spruce High School, she received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Management from Baker College. Atalia then continued her studies at Texas Wesleyan University’s School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor. To further broaden her knowledge in business and leadership, Atalia most recently completed her Masters of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
At Garcia Legal Group, P.C., the attorneys have set out to create a law firm that not only serves it clients, but the community in which we work and live as well. The firm is engaged in the general practice of law. Atalia values customer service and appreciates and enjoys the problem solving aspects of her practice. Atalia is also an Adjunct Professor at Baker College and American Business and Technology University. She teaches Business Law and Criminal Justice online courses to undergraduate students.
Atalia is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court. She is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesperson.
Atalia is a supporter of providing legal services to the underserved and has volunteered at different pro-bono events in the community. She is actively involved in numerous organizations and professional associations.
